What is the Braves rainout ticket policy? ›

If less than 5 innings of a game (4 and 1/2 innings, if the Braves are ahead) are played, your paid ticket serves as a rain check coupon and will be valid for the re-scheduled game. If you choose to not come back to the re-scheduled game, your original ticket may be exchanged online through your Braves Account.

You are permitted to bring a small, clear bag inside the stadium for Braves games. All bags must be clear and are subject to a search prior to entry. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the stadium. Weapons, knives, guns, etc.

Truist Park clear bag policy is that only single-compartment carriers are allowed inside the venue. No guest can bring a backpack or other types of carriages and luggage too. Ice chests and hard-sided coolers are strictly prohibited.

Outside Food & Drink

Outside food is allowed inside of Truist Park as long as it fits inside a clear, gallon sized plastic bag. Guests may also bring a sealed plastic bottle of water. One bag of food and one bottle of water per ticket will be permitted.

In baseball, a rain check is a ticket issued to spectators which admits them to the ballpark at a later date at no additional cost to the ticket holder.

When a rainout occurs the affected game can either be delayed/postponed, canceled, or rescheduled. If the event is postponed or delayed due to weather, the game is usually played later that same day, once the weather clears.

To summarize, the Truist Park bag policy allows for small, single-compartment clutches no larger than 5 x 9 inches. Larger bags and purses are not permitted, but the park offers mobile locker bag storage for guests who need a place to stow oversized bags during the game.

For example, most MLB ballparks allow small bags the size of a clutch (5-by-9-by-2 inches). Anything larger but does not exceed a maximum size (usually 16-by-16-by-8 inches) – needs to be in clear plastic, vinyl or PVC. Backpacks of any kind are typically prohibited, even if they are clear.

Can I bring a purse to Truist Park? ›

While larger bags and purses are not permitted, the Truist Park purse policy does allow small, single-compartment clutches no larger than 5 x 9 inches. This provides a secure option for carrying essential items like your phone, wallet, and keys while attending the game.

Don't leave at 6 for a 7:10 start time. Go two, even three hours early, and make a day of out of it. There is plenty to see and do at The Battery Atlanta, a mixed-use development, adjacent to SunTrust Park, to pass the time.

We don't have a set rainout policy because it varies depending on the game and other contributing factors. If the game is postponed due to inclement weather, the most important thing is to hold on to your tickets, and someone will contact you with your ticket options. There are no refunds.

After the interruptions by rain, the consumers will also get a rescheduled ticket or an exchange for another game. However, they cannot get a refund as mentioned in the ticket policies of MLB.

No refunds will be given.

In the event of a rained out game and the stadium gates are not opened, guests should retain possession of their tickets (rain check). If the game is rescheduled, their tickets will be valid for the new game date.

In the event a regulation game (4 ½ innings) is not played due to inclement weather or other situations dictated by Major League Baseball, tickets may either be exchanged or refunded.
